Sofia turns 1!

Sofia's God-Mama, Kate and God-Papa, Terry & G.B.B.F.F. (that's GodBrother Best Friend Forever) Henry came to visit for Miss Sofia's B-day, well not just Sofia's, she and Terry share the same birthday! We had a fabulous visit, it was so cray watching Sofia & Herny move their way through the house interacting, looking for personal space and rearranging furniture together! The Rents - gosh that's us know - managed to sneak away for a night out on the city!

Wait, what's that you say? You say my buddt Henry's coming to stay? YEAH!

North to Alaska!

Over Labor Day weekend Pat, Sofia & I headed up to Anchorage, Alaska to visit our family and then ventured down to Homer. During the week we were able to see most of the family in town & an old friend of mine for childhood. Sofia became more in tune with her Alaska roots, mastered the stairs - up that is, and took her first hike in land for a Glacier lunch!
