I'll be adding more photos, but for now this is as many as I can upload tonight.

I'm not sure where to begin, Sofia has grown up so much in the last month. Tonight during dinner she had a full conversation with Pat & I. Of course not much is clearly understood, but one this is for certain Sofia has an opinion on all most all things! I suppose she is like her Mama in this regard! But like her Papa she loves to examine anything really, and understand how it works, whether it's learning to unscrew a water bottle, checking out the mechanicals of her booster chair or trying to buckle Stella's collar.

I've included a few photos from our weekend in Montery with Sarah, Kiana, Jen, Anthony & Mario to celebrate Sarah's 21st & babysit Mario as Jen & Anthony went out for a Lea's wedding. It was so fun to watch Sofia with Mario this visit because she was so much more interested in him. She wanted to be near him, touch his hair, feel his toes, talk to him and make sure he was okay.

I had a ball taking photos this weekend. Pat surprised me with an early birthday present and ordered me a digital camera body, which I love. As you'll see the picture quality is amazing. It was so good for me to have a camera back in my hands!

Anyhow enjoy the photos, more will be coming tomorrow and be sure to check out our lil monster!

Sofia's first (of many) pizza party!

For Mimi & Poppi's last weekend we had pizza night, testing two doughs & a variety of toppings and cheeses. Of course the night had to begin with a little bit of drama, our pizza stone was no where to be found! So after four stops just before 9 pm, Pat found a floor model at Bed, Bath & Beyond for $4, what a deal!? A deal it turned out to be. After five minutes in the oven it cracked in half. But when you have fresh dough rising and the best ingredients standing by you figure out a way to work with the tools you have. Six pizzas later we all retired to the livingroom with elastic waists on!

Me and my Teddy
It is important to note that this Teddy is 24 oz., which is pretty much two pounds. That's right, heavy. And our lil one year old carts Mister Bear all around the house: from storytime to dinner prep time; Mister Bear gets around the city.

What's that?
Stretch and touch your toes
Ha ha ha! I can tell jokes too!
This Sat. Pat, Sofia & I headed north to go and see our oven. I took this lil video on my phone and when ever Sofia sees it she gets SO excited and starts pointing and saying "What's that? Ohhh!" Maybe she really thinks the over is cool, but I think she feels the energy we have and knows that this is something truly exciting.
