For Mimi & Poppi's last weekend we had pizza night, testing two doughs & a variety of toppings and cheeses. Of course the night had to begin with a little bit of drama, our pizza stone was no where to be found! So after four stops just before 9 pm, Pat found a floor model at Bed, Bath & Beyond for $4, what a deal!? A deal it turned out to be. After five minutes in the oven it cracked in half. But when you have fresh dough rising and the best ingredients standing by you figure out a way to work with the tools you have. Six pizzas later we all retired to the livingroom with elastic waists on!

A trip to the park before the flightMy very, first dollar bill. Thanks G-Gma & G-Papa. Here I go saving for college already!

Lil S grows up . . .
I'm ready to go out on the town
It is important to note that this Teddy is 24 oz., which is pretty much two pounds. That's right, heavy. And our lil one year old carts Mister Bear all around the house: from storytime to dinner prep time; Mister Bear gets around the city. What's that?
This Sat. Pat, Sofia & I headed north to go and see our oven. I took this lil video on my phone and when ever Sofia sees it she gets SO excited and starts pointing and saying "What's that? Ohhh!" Maybe she really thinks the over is cool, but I think she feels the energy we have and knows that this is something truly exciting.Checking out the oven . . .
