North to Alaska!

Over Labor Day weekend Pat, Sofia & I headed up to Anchorage, Alaska to visit our family and then ventured down to Homer. During the week we were able to see most of the family in town & an old friend of mine for childhood. Sofia became more in tune with her Alaska roots, mastered the stairs - up that is, and took her first hike in land for a Glacier lunch!

Getting ready to go up the stairs.
Bob, Morgan & GMa at Bob & Pat's for a fun welcome dinner!
Pat & I took Sofia to the fair, we're checking out the 15 lbs., that's right, I know not a typo a 15 lbs. radish. All things grow big under the Midnight Sun.
Sofia loving the fair.
Auntie Sharon took us out to Girwood (Alyeska) for a fun hike.
