At sixteen months Sofia has transitioned out of baby land into a full on toddler. She's constantly talking. She's got a few more words in her vocabulary: Mama, Dada, sometimes Papa, La-La, Doual for ball of course, and Teddy.

Teddy goes everywhere with Sofia all day long. She likes to dress Teddy, put diapers on Teddy, read Teddy books and Sofia even shares her water or milk with Teddy!

A few of Sofia's favorite things - dancing of course, but her dance moves have evolved to a squat shimmy with a head shake like she's really, really rockin' out. She's master climbing on pretty much all of our furniture. Loves to ride her scooter, sometimes even backwards. She plays ball with Stella - and every time Stella runs after the ball Sofia runs the opposite direction squealing in delight. Sofia is even learning how to use a racket to play ball with Stella. And of course, Sofia's favorite place in the house is the kitchen. She loves our kitchen aid as you can see.

When I grow up . . . I think I'd like to be a baker.

Sofia participated in a shoot we did for the California Academy of Sciences. Here are some fun photos. Mason was there too! The girls had a blast as you can see. So even science can be fun!

Here is a cool video of our lil Sofia, in her Papa's flip flops!
